Classification
What does advice after §37.3 mean?
People with care level 2 to 5 who receive care allowance must request a consultation visit after §37.3 SGB XI once every six months. This also applies to care level 4 and 5. For care level 4 and 5, an additional quarterly consultation visit is still voluntary, but no longer mandatory.
People with care level (Pflegegrad) 1 may voluntarily request an advisory home visit every six months. This also applies to people who receive care benefits in kind through a home-care provider. On request, every second consultation may take place by video conference up to and including 31.03.2027; the first consultation must take place at home. The responsible long-term care insurance fund (Pflegekasse) provides binding information on evidence and benefit questions.
